This website caught my eye because one of the first things Mr. Levine does is pull the visitor in with a visual: Awesome Design + Effective Marketing = More Business. Bob Levine Design and Consulting works with businesses who are looking to increase their customer base through a website. In fact, he states that the only thing worse than not having website, is having a poorly conceived one. He assures his prospective clients that what they need is his services to create “a focused message, a professional look and clear navigation that’s designed for your customers’ needs. Moreover, it must be coded to enable search engines to find it…” I believe he is referring to SEO or Search Engine Optimization that I touched upon in a previous blog entry. As per Bob Levine, a professionally created website will feature a site targeted to one’s customers, clear and simple navigation, so as not to frustrate potential clients, search engine friendly code, sitemap submission to all search engines, and Google Analytics in order to keep track of website performance.
His services include Web Design, Web Marketing, iPad/EPub Publishing, Print Design and Consulting and Training for those interested in converting their QuarkXpress files to InDesign, or learning more about InDesign (He’s an official Adobe Training Partner for their digital publishing suite services, and states he has 10 years of experience with inDesign and InCopy). I read somewhere that website urls should be easy to read, because they are more likely to be remembered, and Mr. Levine’s page has that, plus his explanation of services are short and concise, and very persuasive.
